A supportive, digital voice
Schultz Toomey O’Brien Lawyers are one of the largest regional law firms in Queensland and boast a strong team working across most areas of law.
The expansive team offer a professional and informed service, but above all, pride themselves on providing guidance and support in what can often be a difficult period for their clients.
Similarly, Schultz Toomey O’Brien Lawyers also wanted to position themselves as industry leaders in the online space. An already active blog required a more expansive, modern, online presence to match.
Partnering with search engine optimisation leaders, Reload Media, we worked to further enhance Schultz Toomey O’Brien Lawyers’ online voice and better communicate the firm’s approach in this industry.
The first call to action was a much needed refresh of their website. A solution was required that would capture the refined nature and knowledge of the firm, without losing the human touch.
With mobile and tablet users front of mind during the design and development phases, we set up the new structure to work across multiple screen sizes. Images and text resize to match the display and provide comfortable browsing, regardless of device.
Bold brand colours were implemented sparingly throughout the clean, white canvas of the site to help guide users to key areas of interest. Flowing flowing curves and lines in the interface offer a visual balance between business and support. To expand upon this, large emotive images were incorporated into the homepage and throughout the site as key navigation items, again, highlighting the human element.
We worked with Schultz Toomey O’Brien Lawyers in developing and editing the site to ensure that it followed the guidelines of their industry body. This presented a challenge in page structure, and required context sensitive logic to be applied to pages depending on how they were accessed. Our proprietary content management system was integral to this solution, and allowed us to customise how we managed content within the system - even down to how the hover menus display.
